Here is another creative design challenge post for you! I love these challenges because it gives me a great way to create and have fun doing it. I also love to see what others come up with too!
This challenge is from the Global Design Project and this week is a CASE challenge!
CASE = COPY AND SHARE EVERYTHING
This week’s card designer is Connie Collins and here is her beautiful original design that we will be CASEing. The guidelines were to use the card layout, colours or theme for inspiration.
Drum roll for the result please….
I used the layout and flowers as inspiration for my card design. The card uses the Tropical Chic stamp set and Tropical Dies from Stampin’ Up.
The card base is Basic Black. Layers include a Whiser White stitched border frame, designer paper with black dots and various leaves / flowers from the stamp set and dies. I had so much fun making all the leaves and flowers which is the main focus of this card! I used multiple layers to add depth and sponging in Shaded Spruce ink to add colour variety.
The sentiment ‘You are the Greatest’ was stamped and heat embossed in White for a pop up effect, which I just love on a contrasting Black background! Rhinestones add some ‘bling’ to the card and follows the original card design’s sequins.
This card can be used as a Thank You card or appreciation for someone special!
